Life is So Bright

I woke up with a song,
A song of light refined;
It helped me walk along,
A guide to me: the blind.

This life is just so bright,
Why is it hard to see?
There is so much that is so right,
How can you not agree?

You’re here—right now: so alive,
A spirit with such a glow;
Your purpose and design,
Is more than you can know.

While all’s not in its place,
And lovers leave behind,
There is a pool of grace,
You don’t need a map to find.

And when you slip inside,
On a dark and lonely night,
You’ll see a light, but do not hide,
For there you’ll find why life is so bright.
